The NFL announced on Wednesday that Ray Rice had won AFC Offensive Player of the Week after his 153 yard, two touchdown performance against the Saints. Believe it or not, it was Rice’s first AFC Offensive Player of the Week honor and to celebrate he got himself a Superman costume.

“Felt like Superman Sunday so I decided to get this lol,” Rice tweeted on Wednesday day night.

Rice broke the 1,000 yard mark against the Saints and doubled his touchdown total in the game. He is just shy of 300 yards away from his yardage total last season, but he reached the end zone three more times on the ground.

It was undoubtedly Ray Rice’s best game of 2010 and it should be the Ravens blueprint against poor run defenses moving forward. Against Cleveland, with a chance of snow in the forecast, the Ravens may be relying on Superman to get the job done against the Browns on Sunday.
