You’re probably wondering what a post about Steve Jobs is doing on BaltimoreSportsReport.com.  The fact that I’m typing it on Apple keyboard on my Mac Mini with my iPhone and iPad on my desk is reason enough to give arguably the greatest innovator of our time a few characters here on BSR.

Whether you know it or not Steve Jobs changed the world.  In a lot of ways I think he was the Walt Disney of our era.  No man made more of an impact on technology and pushed through the barriers of the norms more than he did.  I’m not here to tell you about the great things that Jobs created because you already know and you’re likely using them in your daily lives.  But more so than his ability to roll out a magical and revolutionary product, Jobs was the ultimate dreamer and doer.

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” – Steve Jobs

It’s the motivation of a true dreamer that achieved all of his wildest imaginations that encourages and pushes the rest of the world.

Thank you Steve.
