We all saw Tom Brady’s screaming match with his offensive coordinator, Bill O’Brien in the Patriots 34-27 win over the Redskins on Sunday. To an outsider, Terrell Suggs relationship with his defensive coordinator, Chuck Pagano, could look similar, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.
“He’s terrible. He’s a terrible coach, Suggs said to Garrett Downing of BaltimoreRavens.com. “His players don’t love him, and he doesn’t know what he’s doing when he’s calling a game.”
Suggs of course is hoping the avoid drawing attention to Pagano as a head coaching candidate with more jobs popping up everyday. “Chuck Pagano, if anybody is trying to hire a head coach, if they ask, I’m going to say he sucks,” T-Sizzle added in hopes of keeping Pagano as his defensive coordinator in Baltimore.
With openings in Kansas City, Jacksonville and now Miami, Pagano may draw some interest in taking over a franchise.
“He’s playing the chess match to death, and we’re doing a good job as a unit and as a whole team.”
This guy knows how to coach football. Love to see him take over the Ravens.
Haha Suggs is always entertaining. Get the original Ball So Hard University shirt at http://www.tonytshirt.com
Seriously, this is not a laughing matter to me. It would suck to see Pagano go….we can’t keep a D-Cordinator for long b’cos people want them as head coaches, which is a testament to their good work. But it sets the Ravens back, see the mess Greg Mattison created when he took over from Rex Ryan. That dude probably cost us a superbowl with his no pressure, all prevent defense.
We love u coach Pagano, but I’m gonna be selfish and hope nobody hires you. Steelers never have this issue of continuity, b’cos Lebeau stays put….well, he already had his head coaching stint.
