- Drew Bennett Retires – After just two full days with the club, Bennett hangs up the cleats after fearing that his knee injuries would resurface.
- Ravens waive Sypniewski – Two months after his setback on his surgically repaired knee, the Ravens decided to part ways with the fourth year tight end.
- Flacco back-and-forth about Mason – Joe Flacco told the media regarding the Derrick Mason situation, “That’s been over for a couple of weeks.” However, he also said “he didn’t really sound too sure of himself,” in a later part of his Q&A.
- McGahee: “I’m in fighting shape” – Despite being placed on the physically unable to perform list, Willis McGahee claims he is in “fighting shape” this season and Aaron Willis of ProFootballTalk.com agrees.
- Ravens Interested in Vick? – John Harbaugh dodged a question about the Ravens interest in Michael Vick after his reinstatement in the NFL. “We have a course of action that you can ask Ozzie about,” he said.
