Each year, Panini America allows NHL rookies to do something special- they let them draw. They are handed a card, some magic markers, and allowed to take a trip down memory lane and draw pictures, just like we all used to do back in arts and crafts.
Tom Wilson decided to draw about his three favorite things: The Capitals, his friends, and Canada. Surprised he didn’t work kicking butt into this somehow.

The “T” in Capitals is a little messed up, but other than that, a very nice drawing!

Appropriately, Tom Wilson made himself much taller than everything else in the picture, including the tree. Whoever Boone apparently either has an afro or just got a perm. Manny (?) either has a mohawk or he’s a unicorn.

Tom Wilson’s maple leaf looks more like some kind of weapon, but overall another pretty good drawing!
On the back of each card is his autograph.

If you want to check out all the drawings from this year’s rookie class, you can check them out here. I recommend checking them out, it’s pretty awesome to see hockey players draw like little kids.
If these are for sale, you now know what I want for Christmas.
