Orioles Rookie Manny Machado Homered Twice On Friday, Buck Showalter Gave MLB Network An Early Breakdown
Right now, it’s all Manny Machado all the time.
Baltimore Orioles manager Buck Showalter joined the gang at MLB Network to discuss Manny Machado’s two home run night, calling up the 20-year-old and the O’s quest to the postseason.
Showalter said that calling up Machado shows not that the Orioles are desperate, but that they are willing to do whatever they can to help the team better and “gain an inch.” While Machado is grabbing headlines after his first eight at bats, Showalter realizes that the league will still probably adjust to him.
“It’s two games,” Buck told MLB Network. “So far, so good.”
Indeed.
The trolls said “it’s too soon…they’re desperate…he’ll never match this guy or that guy’s start”
Machado comes out of the gates smoking hot and the trolls say ” it’s just a start, it’ll never last”
Now they sit under their bridge waiting for the first error or o’fer night.
The life of a troll is tough.
