There’s a sweet Twitter account I stumbled upon in recent weeks, @MLBcathederals. It tweets pictures of on old ballparks, famous moments and historical references from our national past time. It’s a must follow.
On New Year’s Day they shared a picture of the Baltimore Orioles mascot from the 1950s. I had never seen a photo of this horrifying nightmare bird before, so I figured it would be worth sharing here.
