BSR had a chance to catch up with Orioles Left fielder/Designated Hitter Luke Scott on Saturday while he was promoting his giveaway with the World Fishing Network. We asked Luke about the Orioles early struggles, Mike Gonzalez‘s role as the closer and his passion for baseball.

For all the negative stories you hear about ballplayers, you never hear the positives. I was at this event yesterday at Bass Pro and saw Luke interacting with the fans, snapping pictures, signing anything and everything put in front of him. He's a class act all the way around. He gave each fan individual time and seemed interested in what they had to say. Great guy!
Special…I dunno how to really react…Good hear Luke is a great guy…But then again, wouldn't we expect that of a player who has hit .255, .257. and .258 the past three seasons…I mean, the prettier the girl, the less inclined she is to "have a great personality", right? Sounds like I'd definitely want Luke on my Church Softball Team, but praying for strength when your in the middle of a "three for 19" stretch? I dunno. I probably shouldda left this one alone, just couldn't help myself. Guess its just where are these days in Baltimore…Club still ain't worth a damn, but at least some a the players are nice to people.
Well done, STG! What was it Howard Stern usedta call himself? Oh, right — "King of All Media"! You are on your way…Gigs in Florida and Arundel Mills all in the same week! Only thing is, Ol' Bruz was a hoping to don his swell new XXL BSR Tee on Opening Day. Along with Gonzo's fiasco and the faded Red, White, & Blue bunting hanging around the stadium, the lack of BSR swag was disappointing.
Bruz, don't you worry. BSR swag is on it's way.
The key to be an on air personaility is to let the celebrity do the talking—nice piece of work. Maybe BSR should look into hiring you??? One bit of advice, I wish that you'd have zeroed in on a few more babes at the event vice 14 year old girls. King of all media have young girl obsessions??? Kidding of course, we all know he likes the older ladies.
