Baltimore Orioles general manager Dan Duquette joined Matt Vasgersian and Harold Reynolds on MLB Network from the Winter Meetings in Nashville on Monday. Duquette talked about the state of the Orioles and gave an update on free agent Mark Reynolds.

“I like Mark Reynolds, I just didn’t like the price of his contract. We looked at a lot of ways to fit him into the team, but I don’t know that we’re going to be able to do that.”

  1. Could be a ploy to drive down the price. I don’t think people will be knocking down the door to get him and if Butler or La Roche don’t work out they could always trun back to Reynolds.
