David Hernandez continued to show why he deserves a spot in Baltimore‘s 2010 rotation. Last night he gave up two solo homers, but he only allowed six hits and two runs while striking out six in 6.2 innings of work.

Brian Roberts had two stolen bases, he’s now 12 for 12 in third base SB attempts. However, Roberts was a part of a miscue that could have led to more runs for the O’s in the fifth inning in which he forgot to tag on a pop up.

B-Rob did have a 3 for 4 day with an RBI, he picked up his 37th multi-hit game and his AL-leading 39th double of the year.

Hats off to the bullpen for their 2.1 scoreless innings. It was good to see Jim Johnson come in and record his 4th save of the year on just 13 pitches.

Baltimore ended their nine game losing streak against the A’s and their 19 game losing streak when they score three runs or less.
