The smack talk continues to roll in. Tuesday after practice the Steelers were asked about the matchup against the Ravens and Hines Ward told the media that he hates the Ravens.
“As much as they hate me, I hate them,” Ward said according to The Sun. The Steelers wide receiver told the media that after his career is over he can say he played against Hall of Famers Ed Reed and Ray Lewis, but that he can’t stand some of the other Ravens.
“But I can’t stand some of them. I can’t stand seeing Suggs celebrate. At the end of the day, you respect them, but every time I see a game plan, I get a big smile on my face because I can’t wait to get on the field and compete.”
Suggs voiced his hatred for Ward on yesterday as well.

Smack talk? Not on the Ravens' side. Coach Harbaugh told us before the last Ravens-Steeler game that there was no smack talk on the Ravens' side.
You're hilarious…tongue-in-cheek but hilarious.
…Then he tries his weak attempt. He's like the nerdy kid who tries to join in the fray, but you just look at him and laugh. 'Yea, we're happy we broke his nose"….
The first game this year the 2 teams held hands and said all nice things about each other. The second was a little better but still not Steelers football. Round 3 Ward gets it right if you are a true steeler fan you hate the Ravens, with passion. Don't let them sweet talk us down from popping them in the chops. Here is the blueprint to beating them: Have Farrior blitz up the middle all day so he doesn't keep losing Todd Heap – he is too old and slow to cover him. Same goes for W Gay he plain just can't cover "anyone". Get Issac Redman involved running and screens, Mendenhall falls down way too easy. Health Miller a lot! Flee flicker on a non passing down – just double team Suggs or it could be trouble. Run a few end arounds if nothing else but to get them winded. Run right at Ray again and again and again. Don't forget Hines in the middle and please get Mike and Sanders in the game. Ben throws sideline to Randell Ell who throws from the side – throw to Sanders after Mike and Hines run the secondary to the other side. Blitz Gay from outside.
I still say if Hines Ward was a Raven, he'd probably be the second most popular guy on the team. He's hard nosed, blocks, and makes big plays. And yes, I am a Ravens fan.
Trust me, if Hines was a Raven, he'd be the MOST popular player. You can't have him…
We hate you too, Hines Ketchup-man.
