John Harbaugh’s parents, Jaqueline and Jack Harbaugh, had a conference call of their own this morning to share stories about their two sons who — stop me if you’ve heard this before — are coaching against each other in Super Bowl XLVII. In between questions about when Jim learned to walk and John’s first time seeing Santa, a surprise visitor made an appearance to ask ask a question.
“Is it true you always liked Jim best,” John Harbaugh asked his parents while trolling the call.
The question apparently caught everyone by surprise and caused a good laugh for the family and media. John only stuck around for a few more minutes because he was on his way to conduct practice with his AFC Champion Baltimore Ravens.
So many Harbaughs.
I keep hearing people complain about the John vs. Jim/Ray Lewis retirement stories. If you didn’t want to hear them then someone should’ve beaten the Ravens or ‘9ers. But no one did.
