John Harbaugh Didn’t Ask Roger Goodell About The Ravens Injury Report Fine

John HarbaughNFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was in town over the weekend for a charity event. After his tirade on Friday, Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh was asked whether he talked with the commish about the fine his team received for omitting Ed Reed from their injury report.

“No. No. (laughing) I have tremendous respect for Commissioner Goodell, and we have talked on the phone many times about different things. I have the utmost respect for him – I really do – I think he’s doing a great job. He did not ask me about that other thing, and I guess he’s not going to now. But I’m probably going to stay out of that conversation from here on out.” (laughter)

It’s probably wise of Harbs to just act like it never happened.

We know the NFL takes injury reports (like concussions) very seriously. After all, how can Vegas be expected to set a fair line without an accurate injury report?
