A sweep in Fenway might have convinced me that the Orioles slump was over. But unfortunately, Brian Matusz got shelled and was out after two innings and Clay Buchholz threw a complete game four hit shutout against the Birds.

The O’s fell 7-0 to Boston in the finale and concluded a season worse 3-6 road trip against the Blue Jays, Rays and Red Sox. Baltimore was swept in Toronto, took one in Tampa Bay and the first two in Boston.
The Orioles committed 9 errors in those 9 games.
