The Ravens made it official with new secondary coach Teryl Austin on Wednesday. Austin comes from the University of Florida where he spent time as the defensive coordinator.

The deal has not been signed and the Ravens have have yet to formally announce the hiring, but Aaron Wilson on NationalFootballPost.com says it’s official.

The Baltimore Ravens have made it official, hiring former University of Florida defensive coordinator Teryl Austin for their secondary coach vacancy.

Austin had already agreed to terms, but hadn’t signed off on a contract as his agent negotiated his deal.

The Ravens have yet to announce that he’s been hired.

Austin also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals as a secondary coach from 2007-2009 and was with the Seahawks from 2003-2006.
