Jets coach Rex Ryan continued to stir the pot on Wednesday when he threw out some trash talk about his team’s upcoming matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.
Ryan said that the Ravens and Jets have talked about meeting up in the AFC championship game this season. “Now, we haven’t won the AFC championship game, but we’ve got there two years in a row. The Ravens haven’t. So you can throw that one right back at them as well.”
It’s good that Ryan recognizes that his teams haven’t won either of those championship games because to me it feels like he’s bragging about losing in back to back big games. Maybe it’s just me.
