Terrell Suggs hatred for Tom Brady is no secret, last week he called his Super Bowls “questionable.” Sunday night after Brady’s Patriots were defeated by the Jets, Suggs sent out on last jab on twitter.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Look like tommy wll be with me.
Suggs obviously will be siding with gang green, just as we have this week, against the Steelers.
As good as Brady is, his is on a 3 game play-off losing streak. Two of the 3 at home against heavy underdogs who they beat at home in the regular season. Certainly not all on him, but it makes the case for Big Ben to take the label of best big game QB in the game right now.
Give Brady a guy like Mike Wallace and it changes everything.
Interesting that those of us who build up Joe Flacco often point to his success in his first three seasons in the playoffs. We talk about his 4-3 record, etc, etc.
Does anyone think that Mark Sanchez is a great QB? I'll answer for my self, No, yet if you use the rationale of "what is his record in the playoffs?", Mark is 4-1 and going to the AFC championship for a second straight year.
My point is, we can't look at "records" or "stats", use the eye test, what do you see? I see a guy with some pretty decent physical skills, but a guy who -at this point in time – is a half-second too slow. The offense is what it is because Joe can't handle too much more right now. I also don't see a confident guy, a guy with swagger.
I read this morning in the Sun where the organization should keep Bulger and have a QB competition between Flacco and Bulger. There is a lot of logic in that thinking. I'm not sure where Bulgers skills are but competition is never a bad thing.
On Flacco….you can't fix his inability to react quicker in game situations. He doesn't read the defenses quick enough or react appropriately to opportunities. Loss to Pittsburgh in December…..it's on Flacco…how did he miss the blitz coming at him from the left??? Troy P. was 10 feet to his left and and unblocked. I think the receivers are frustrated that he doesn't pick them up sooner in their routes. The Bolden drop really looked like a half hearted try.
