I was lost without Orioles baseball last night. The 16-9 O’s have become must watch TV.
They open up their series in Boston tonight facing Jon Lester, who has historically owned them in years past. Lester has never lost against the Orioles in 18 career starts. He’s won 14 of those games a recorded a 2.36 ERA.
Personally, I can’t wait for Bob Andino to step into the box at Fenway. If the Red Sox fans haven’t blocked his walkoff on September 28 out of their memory, they’ll likely boo the hell out of him.
Honestly, I wonder if the Red Sox will throw at him.
Either way won’t bother Andino, as Roch Kubatko points out he’s 4 for 10 with a double against Lester.
Matt Wieters is 8 for 25 with a double.
Bring on Boston.
Oh how I’d love the O’s to sweep their asses…
…and there you have it. The Orioles OWN the Red Sox.
Ain’t the beer cold,,,,,,,,,,I actually thought of purchasing season tickets again but then I realized this must be a dream………
