The Orioles got another great start from Brad Bergesen, that’s 3 in a row. Bergy gave up only 2 runs in 7 innings pitched, both of which came off the bat of Adrian Beltre’s 2 run homerun in the 3rd inning.
Naturally, Ichiro Suzuki got a hit to extend his hit streak to 27.
Whatever Luke Scott is drinking I want some! Another homer and an RBI double. Scott hit a solo homerun in 2nd inning and an RBI double in right that tied the game at 2.
Aubrey Huff had a 3 for 4 day.
The O’s left 4 runners on base.
But it was basically the Luke Scott/Adrian Beltre show. Off Jim Johnson, Beltre hit an RBI single with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th. M’s win 3-2.
