Whatever it was that took place when the Ravens first draft pick Sergio Kindle fractured his skull after falling down two flights of stairs in late July may be old news in the coming days. Head Coach John Harbaugh alluded that Kindle may be able to join the team this season and was optimistic with his progress in his comments to the press after practice yesterday.
“He’s really recovering very quickly, which is really encouraging, Harbaugh said. “That’s why we want to make sure we get him here and have all the doctors compare notes with the people down in Dallas and see exactly where he’s at.”
Kindle is unable to meet with Ravens staff since he remains unsigned and would likely start the season on the physically unable to perform list. Still, the news that Kindle would be able to play at all, after suffering a fractured skull, is encouraging for the Ravens.
