Zach Wilt is the Founding Editor of Baltimore Sports Report and lifelong Orioles, Ravens, and Capitals fan. He grew up on Maryland’s eastern shore, graduated from Towson University, and now lives in Central Florida where he roots for his teams from afar. The best sports moment he witnessed live was when he witnessed Delmon Young drive in three on a double down the left field line in game two of the 2012 ALDS.

As big an Orioles fan that I am, anyone who knows me knows I hate Cal Ripken. Other than the streak, he was an average ball player. Just look at his stats! Enough said. If I was starting a team of self-centered ego mainiacs, who only care about one thing, keeper of the lights, Manny Alexander hater, gained 50 pounds over two winters and no one noticed, Brady manlover, Raffy alledged wife banger….Ripken would be my first choice.
