Major League Baseball released their 2014 schedules on Tuesday afternoon. As we discussed back in August, the O’s will travel to PNC Park to face the Pittsburgh Pirates and to Wrigley Field to square off against the Chicago Cubs.

I’m already booking my flight to Chicago.

The O’s will celebrate their 60th anniversary in 2014 and will open the season at home on March 31 against the Boston Red Sox. They make the trip to Pittsburgh on May 20-21, to Milwaukee on May 26-28 and to Chicago to face the Cubs on August 22-24. They face the White Sox earlier in the week, have a day off on Thursday the 21st and then conclude their road trip with three at Wrigley Field.

Pretty awesome.

Their fan favorite Battle of the Beltways against the Nationals will be bunched up in 2014. The O’s head to D.C. on July 7-8 and host the Nats on the 9-10. Personally, I prefer when they break it up over a couple weeks.

The season concludes with a four game road trip in the Bronx against the Yankees, followed by three in Toronto. Much like this season, the O’s conclude 2014 with 22 games against AL East opponents.

Yowza.
