It must have been a slow news day at ProFootballTalk.com.

PFT’s Mike Florio reports the breaking news that Steelers safety Ryan Clark doesn’t hate the Ravens. “I don’t really hate them,” Clark told Kevin Patra of the NFL Network according to Florio.

But what I found most interesting was the next quote from Clark. “I was working out with Terrell Suggs this summer, before his injury. He’s a really cool dude and he said it himself, he’s like, ‘People don’t understand that we only hate y’all two weeks or three out of the year.’”

Despite becoming pals with T-Sizzle, Clark admitted that he is still a bit angry at the Ravens after week one of last season. And why shouldn’t he be? The Steelers were embarrassed 35-7 in last year’s season opener. “I will say this about the Ravens:  That first game last year watching them dance on the field, seeing them fake an extra point while up 27 already, it allowed me to understand how much they actually dislike us as an organization as a coaching staff,” he said.

I’m not sure how faking an extra point says anything about what the Ravens think of the Steelers organization, but I can understand being angry because of the whooping that was put on. Hopefully it’ll happen again on November 18.
